I believe in the power of a story. When we enter the field of Fantasy we can touch something essential within us, something that doesn’t exist in real life. (Haruki Murakami)

Fascinated by worlds blurring the border between reality and fiction, moki tells stories of the unusal and unreal. She invites the viewer for a stroll through her paintings, to disappear or to find one self within. Cleft lava landscapes, enchanted forests, fantastic mountain ranges, cozy caves – moki takes us places that don’t exist, that are mysterious and dreamy.

I am looking for places that are good for hiding, where you feel secure and safe, where you can disappear or return home. Being invisible. (moki)
